Schools set to recommence for Grades 7,8

Education Ministry has announced that studies are set to recommence for students in Grades 7 and 8 from August 16 onwards in Male' City.

Schools in the country were closed in March due to COVID-19, and classes were conducted through Google classrooms and teleclasses.

Schools were reopened for some stages on July 1. In Male’ City, schools were reopened from Grade 9 onwards.

Education Ministry previously said that schools would be conducted with all safety measures such as temperature checks. Social distancing is also to be practiced in schools.
