A nine-year-old child in home-quarantine on the island of A. A. Thoddoo has tested positive for COVID-19.
An official from the Thoddoo Health Center said to Sun that the nine-year-old girl tested positive after samples were collected from her upon completion of her 14-day quarantine period.
Four others had traveled to the island with the girl. They were all in home-quarantine at the same residence. The samples of everyone else have returned as negative, however, the newly tested positive case means that they would all have to complete a quarantine period.
