Ministry of Education has begun forwarding O' Level and A' Level certificates to schools for examinations held in October and November of 2019, which had previously faced delays due to COVID-19.
The certificates had been received by the Depart of Public Examinations, said the Education Ministry.
Work to forward the certificates to schools was now underway, according to the Ministry.
The Ministry had previously said that the A’ Level and O’ Level certificates are printed by the universities in the UK which also requires the seal of the universities. The certificates are then sent to the Maldives.
However, due to the closure of airports and restrictions on travel and transport of items and goods across the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic, delays were faced in obtaining the certificates right now, the Ministry had stated.
