Malaysian company donates 60,000 face masks to Maldives

Dhangethi MP Col. Rtd. Mohamed Nazim is pictured handing over face masks donated by a Malaysia company to the Chief Executive of National Disaster Management Authority, Hisaan Hassan.

The founder of the Linbaq Holding Co, Mr. Datuk Wira Ling Kah Chok has donated 60,000 face masks to the Maldives to assist in the country’s fight against COVID-19.

The Linbap Holding Company has diversified interests in construction, education, and environmental science and is based in Malaysia.

The masks were received by Dhangethi MP Col. Rtd. Mohamed Nazim and were received by the National Disaster Management Authority’s Chief Executive Hisaan Hassan.

Mr. Ling is also the Managing Director of Grander International Pvt. Ltd which is a holiday development company that operates in the Maldives. MP Nazim is also a director at the company. Mr. Ling praised the government’s efforts in fighting against COVID-19 and stated his belief that it wouldn’t be difficult for the economy to recover.
