iPhone application to promote Maldives launched

An iPhone application to promote Maldives tourism has been launched and made available for free download from the Apple Store.

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) said that the application is a destination guide which includes the latest information about the Maldives.

The application includes information on resorts, guest houses, cafes, restaurants, safaris; and contains photos and videos of Maldives.

The application will be introduced for Android and Blackberry phones in the future.

The application was developed by Zebra Cross.

MMPRC also has plans to develop an application for information about Male’, and depending on the popularity of this application, to introduce an application about atolls of Maldives.
