‘Rankuri’ dhoni carrying two Maldivians and two Bangladeshis, which went missing on Monday, has been found.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said that it was found 50 miles away from Ga. Vilingili at around sunset today.
MNDF Spokesperson Abdullah Ali said that all four people onboard are in good condition, and that they had repaired the engine and the dhoni was entering the atoll when it was found.
“We are traveling to Laamu Atoll with the people and the dhoni,” Abdullah said.
Rankuri went missing shortly after it left Ga. Vilingili.
MNDF has been conducting nonstop operations in cooperation with Indian military, to locate the missing vessel.
