Special leaves for elderly employees and pregnant employees of Maldivian

The national carrier, Maldivian will be providing a special one-month holiday for elderly and pregnant employees of the company.

In a tweet, the company stated that employees aged above 55 and pregnant employees, as well as employees receiving medical care for illnesses, would be entitled to this holiday. These illnesses include respiratory diseases, hypertension, cancer, and diabetes.

The company is also working to alleviate the pressure on employees following the situation with the Covid-19 in the country. The company is also offering three months of no-pay leaves for employees.
