National airline to hold walk-in interviews to recruit cabin crew

Island Aviation Services Private Limited, the parent company of the national airline, Maldivian, has decided to hold walk-in interviews to recruit cabin crew for the airline.

In a walk-in interview, candidates attend at a set time and location without prior application for the job position. This approach has been used by major employers in the Maldives for their recruitment process.

According to IAS, the walk-in interview will be held from 9:30am to 14:30pm on December 10^th at STO Training Centre’s fourth floor.

Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

•         Aged between 18 - 35 years
•         O’ Level standard or equivalent qualification
•         Fluency in spoken English and Dhivehi
•        Excellent level of health and fitness
•        Height (With weight in proportion)

-        Minimum 5 feet 2 inches (female)

-        Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (male)

•         Normal vision - contact lenses acceptable

Successful applicants will receive a competitive industry-level salary and health insurance, among other benefits.

Applicants attending the walk-in interview must bring a passport-size photo and a full-length photo in formal attire, CV and original educational certificates.
