City council to clean roads of Male' with chlorine

The Male' city council has decided to wash and clean the roads of the capital with chlorine.

As part of this projects, the council stated that damaged or old wooden pallets placed on the roads of the capital Male’ city are to be removed.

The work to be conducted by the city council and MNDF will be commenced tomorrow.

The project was initiated following the situation with the Covid-19 virus in the Maldives. The government has declared a public health emergency earlier this month.
