Health Protection Agency (HPA), on Saturday, announced that it has taken samples from a Maldivian national in Centara Grand Island Resort (A. Dh. Machafushi), and another in Adaaran Club Rannalhi (K. Rannalhi) both of whom had developed symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Samples from both were taken as a precautionary measure, said HPA.
Both have been placed under self-isolation, and access in and out of the resorts where they are in have been restricted.
The restrictive measures will remain in place until HPA receives the test results.
