MWSC advises online payment of bills amid virus fears

Male’ Water and Sanitation Company (MWSC), on Tuesday, urged the public to choose online payment methods to pay bills as the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Maldives rises to six.

MWSC has a mobile application which allows its customers to view their bills and conduct payments without requiring visits to its headquarters.

MWSC has advised its customers to make use of online methods to limit public outings as a precautionary measure against the disease.

“Furthermore, you may call our 24/7 customer care center at 105 with any queries regarding any of our services,” said MWSC.

Six people have tested positive for COVID-19 from Maldives, all of whom are foreign nationals. Of the six patients, four were foreign workers from Kuredu and two were Italian tourists from Sandies Bathala.
