Avid College awards scholarships to 50 students

Private educational institute, Avid College has awarded scholarship opportunities to 50 students.

The scholarships were awarded to new enrollees for the first semester’s courses at the college’s G. Dh. Thinadhoo Campus.

They received their scholarship letters from the college’s founder, Abdul Musthaq Rashad, in a ceremony held at the Thinadhoo Campus on Friday.

The scholarships were awarded under the college’s annual scholarship program, the Naib Rashad Scholarship Program, named in honor of Abdul Musthaq Rashad’s father.

According to the college, 200 of its students in the Thinadhoo Campus, the Addu City Hithadhoo Campus and campuses in Male’ will receive scholarships this year.

Avid College is one of the largest private colleges in Maldives with over 2,000 students enrolled in courses run in Male’ and the atolls.
