Maldivian recognized as Foreign Service National of the year

Shaufa Saeed, a Maldivian who works in the American Embassy in Sri Lanka has won the award for Foreign Service National of the year awarded by the South and Central Asian Affairs.

A tweet by the Bureau announcing that she had won the award commended her excellent reporting and language skills which in turn strengthened the relationship between the Maldives and the USA.
