President visits Laamu Atoll

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in Laamu Atoll.

The president arrived in L. Kadhdhoo airport around 10:30 and received a warm welcome. The President was accompanied by Fonadhoo MP Moosa Siraj and Gan MP Mohamed Wisham during this trip.

Senior officials from the government and the MDP were also present at the airport to welcome the president. The president’s trip is to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of L. Hithadhoo's health center, which will be held in the evening.

President Solih will return to the capital Male’ today after concluding the trip.
