The drugs were discovered in his behind during searches conducted after the court hearing, a media official from the Corrections Service informed “Sun”.
“We do not know how he managed to do it yet, we are working to find that out.” said the official. A prisoner is accompanied by corrections officers at all times during transportation and hearings. It is now known how the prisoner got hold of the drugs, how much he was trying to smuggle.
Regular attempts are made by criminals smuggle mobile phones and other contraband into the prison. However, this is the first of such a case where a prisoner was discovered with drugs after a court hearing.
