Finance Ministry has announced that it is searching for parties interested in developing the roads of G.dh Gaddhoo and Th. Thimarafushi on request from the Planning Ministry.
The announcement read that applicants for the project in Gaddhoo must submit a bid security of MVR 750,000 or an equivalent amount in US dollars. Applicants for the project in Thimarafushi must submit a bid security of MVR 350,000 or an equivalent amount in US dollars.
Finance Ministry has stated that the procedure for awarding these projects will follow the International Competitive Bidding Policies. A non-refundable USD 100 or MVR 1500 registration fee is also required to take part in the bids, which will be accepted until November 20.
The bidding process will be opened on the following day.
MVR 13 million was allocated for each road development project in Gaddhoo and Thimarafushi in the annual state budget for this year.
