30 day holiday for CS employees affected by the fire

The Civil Service Commission has announced that civil service employees affected by the fire on Friday will be given a 30 day holiday.

A statement set out by the Civil Service Commission today read that the holiday was to allow those employees affected by the fire to return to their daily lives. The statement also stated that the Commission has notified institutions to provide holiday for those employees that apply for it.

The fire on Friday had affected seven buildings in the area and resulted in the death of one. Around 400 people were affected by the fire and are now living in temporary shelters.
