Man carrying drugs arrested at airport

A 20-year-old man carrying drugs has been arrested at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.

Police said that he was arrested with 49 bullet-sized rubber packets, while on his way to Gdh. Kaadeddhhoo yesterday evening.

Police said that the drugs were discovered following checks, hidden inside the man’s underwear.

Police Drug Enforcement Department is currently investigating this case.
