Felidhoo council president resigns

The president and member of Felidhoo council in Vaavu Atoll Ali Ismail has resigned.

Ali Ismail stated to "Sun" that he had resigned from the council on September 1 and that his resignation was due to personal reasons.

"I am going move elsewhere and that is why I resigned, there is no other reason," said Ali Ismail. 

Felidhoo, which has a population of 668 will now have a council of vice president Ali Rasheed and Council member Ali Naeem.
