Maldives National University (MNU) and 960 Consultants have commenced a seminar regarding Engineering for engineers and students of the field named "Engineer's Symposium 2019" this morning.
The seminar is the first under an MoU signed by MNU and Structural Engineering Consultants (SEC) from Sri Lanka. The official partner for SEC in the Maldives is 960 Consultants. The seminar will end in the evening and will be participated by Professor Priyan Mendis from the University of Melbourne in Australia, Professor Ranjith Disayanaka the Engineering hed and Senior Professor in Civil Engineering and Senior Lecturer Dr. Chamindha Bandara.
Professor Ranjith spoke about the different ways green innovations can be used in the industry and shared the latest data regarding the topic at the seminar, while Dr. Chamindha highlighted the Green Building Practice, which focuses on how to construct buildings with the focus on bringing benefits to the environment.
