Ahmed Ali appointed PS of Ministry of Education

Former Secretary-General of Elections Commission, Ahmed Ali has been appointed the new Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education.

Ahmed Ali received his letter of appointment from Vice President of Civil Service Commission, Shaheed Mohamed, this Thursday morning.

Ahmed Ali previously served as the Principal at S. Feydhoo School and Addu High School and has a record of over 10 years of service in the civil service sector.

He obtained his Masters of Education in School Management from University of Mysore in India in 2008, and his Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) from Maldives College of Higher Education.

After presenting Ahmed Ali with his letter of appointment as the PS of Ministry of Education, Vice President of CSC, Shaheed advised him to work in accordance with CSC regulations and the instructions of the Education Minister, Dr. Aishath Ali.

He also advised Ahmed Ali to work in harmony with other civil servants, and to work with honesty and integrity in executing the government’s policies for Ministry of Education.
