Kulhudhufushi Council President Jamsheed resigns

Haa Dhaalu Council President Jamsheed Mohamed has resigned from his post.

The Council’s Vice President, Farooq Mohamed today said that a letter has been sent in the morning to the Commission declaring that Jamsheed had resigned from his post of the Council President. He also said that the reason for the resignation was given as due to incompetency of being able to perform the duties associated in regard of ill-health.

Attempts to hear the news from Jamsheed failed, due to him not answering the phone.

Kulhudhufushi Council consists of 7 members, representing the ruling party, MDP.
