Indian authorities intercept 11.5 kilos of drugs headed to Maldives

Indian authorities have seized a large cache of drugs headed to Maldives in an operation in Trivandrum.

Indian press reports that the drugs were found from inside a car as it was being delivered to an agent in the city. The authorities found 11.5 kilos of hashish oil, and an additional 2.5 kilos of ganja, and arrested the three people onboard the car – all of whom possess records for similar drug offenses.

Indian authorities believe the drugs were headed to Maldives.
