Fuel prices reduced in less than a month after increase in prices

State Trading Organization (STO) has reduced the prices of their fuel supply, effective from May 24, 2019.

This decrease in price is announced three weeks after the company increased the prices of fuel.

STO tweeted the new price of a petrol liter as MVR 11.39 and the price of a diesel liter as MVR 11.97.

The previous price of petrol was MVR 11.49 and the price of diesel was MVR 12.11.

Before the prices were increased three weeks ago by STO, the company sold petrol for a price of MVR 10.79 per liter. Diesel was sold for MVR 11.61 per liter.
