Shumba sent summons by Commission for Murders and Enforced Disappearances

Presidential Commission for Investigation of Murders and Enforced Disappearances has sent summons to social media activist Ahmed Asharf (Shumba). 

Shumba tweeted that he will cooperate with the commission and comply with the summons to provide his statement to the commission.

Shumba is a close advocate of the former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb and a member of the Maldives Third-Way Democrats (MTD).

It is not clear on which account Shumba is being summoned to the commission.  

Cases investigated by the commission include the murder of former Parliament Member Dr. Afrasheem Ali and the disappearance of Journalist Rilwan Abdulla.
