Umar from PPM, Moosa from MDP to participate in discussions after the report

Decisions have been made that the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) and Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) will be represented by Umar Naseer and Moosa Manik respectively, at the discussions which will follow the Commission of National Inquiry’s (CNI) report.

An official of PPM said today that PPM made this decision at its Council meeting last Sunday.

PPM Council also decided that its Interim Vice President Abdul Raheem Abdullah will attend the discussions in the event that Umar Naseer is unable to do so.

The invitation to leaders of political parties to join the discussions, which will commence on Thursday, was sent out yesterday by President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik.
