Velezinee appointed as Deputy Home Minister

Former Judicial Service Commission's (JSC) presidential member Aishath Velezinee has been appointed as the Deputy Minister for Home Affairs.

According to the Home Ministry, due to Velezinee’s appointment, there will be currently two Deputy Ministers, in the Ministry.

Home Ministry also confirmed that Velezinee started attending work today.
