Velaa Private Island donates MVR 250K to Care Society

Velaa Private Island has donated MVR 250,000 to local NGO, Care Society, to mark the resort’s five-year-anniversary.

The donation was accepted on behalf of Care Society by Chairperson Thoha Saleem in a ceremony held at the Salt Café last Sunday.

Care Society has pledged to use the donation to expand its services and programs for people with disabilities.

Velaa Private Island, in addition to the donation to Care Society, has provided MVR 250,000 donations each to Thalassemia Society and Cancer Society.
