MPS probe possible brutality against detainee in Addu City

Professional Standards Command of Maldives Police Service has launched a formal investigation into possible police brutality against a detainee at the Hithadhoo Police Station.

The family of the detainee has accused four police officers at Addu City’s Hithadhoo Police Station of assaulting him on January 29.
