President Departs for Ken

The President departed today on a visit to Ken’dhikulhudhoo of Noonu Atoll and Thoddoo of Alifu Alifu Atoll.

The President’s visit is to attend the official functions to be held in Kendhikulhudhoo on the occasion of this year’s Fisherman’s Day and International World Food Day and also to commemorate the laying of the foundation stone of Junior College to be established in the Island. The President is also to honor the Prize-giving ceremony of Ken’dhikulhudhoo School.

In Thoddoo, the President will inaugurate the Tele-medicine Unit at the Thoddoo Health Centre, and lay the foundation for new classrooms at Alifu Alifu Thoddoo School.
