CEO of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem has resigned from his post.
President of Privatization and Corporatization Board, Mohamed Nizar confirmed in a tweet this Thursday morning that Haleem has handed in his resignation.
Nizar said the Privatization and Corporatization Board has accepted Haleem’s resignation.
Assistant CEO of MPL, Rabih Mohamed has been put in charge of running MPL in the interim.
PCB has accepted the resignation of Maldives Ports Limited's Chief Operating Officer Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem. He will be resigning on 15 November 2018. In his absence the company will be managed by Rabih Mohamed (Assistant CEO).

Haleem was appointed CEO of MPL in March, 2017.
He previously also served as Managing Director of MRDC (Maldives Road Development Corporation) and CEO of MTCC (Maldives Transport and Contracting Company).
