Group enters house in Fuahmulah, attacks a person

Two suspects have been arrested, after a group of thugs entered a house in Funaad ward in fuvahmulah, attacking and injuring a woman with a sharp object.

Police suspects that the group entered the house at 3.15am, early morning, to stab a person in the house. The injured person in the incident is believed to be the 45 year-old woman, who was attacked when she tried to stop them. The woman was stabbed in the back and hand and she had been given treatment from the hospital.

The Police did not reveal names of the suspects.
