British Ambassador meets with Foreign Secretary

The Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency James Dauris paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Secretary, His Excellency Ahmed Sareer this morning.

At the meeting held today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Secretary and the Ambassador focused on ways to further strengthen and enhance the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.

The two also discussed the upcoming Presidential Election in the Maldives.

Dauris also met with the MP South Galolhu constituency, Ahmed Mahloof, who is currently under house arrest.
