Yellow alert issued over Dh., Th., and L. Atoll

Maldives Meteorological Service has issued yellow alert over three Maldivian atolls, and white alert over the rest of the country.

The Met Office issued yellow alert over three atolls; Dh. Atoll, Th. Atoll and L. Atoll this Saturday.

It forecasts heavy rain and thunderstorms with gusty winds of up to 40 miles per hour.

The yellow alert to Dh. Atoll, Th. Atoll and L. Atoll has been issued from 9:30 am to noon; and the white alert to the rest of the country from 11:15 am to 5 pm.
