Islamic Ministry’s Coordinator Hisham resigns

Coordinator at Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Hisham Ahmed has resigned from his post.

“Sun” has been informed Hisham resigned this Monday. But the reason for his resignation is unclear at this point.

Hisham’s resignation follows the resignation of State Minister at Ministry of Health, Hussain Rasheed this Monday.

A number of State officials have resigned over the delay in enforcing the Supreme Court’s order on February 1. The court has ordered for the immediate release and retrial of nine politicians, and the immediate reinstatement of 12 parliamentarians.
