SATA 2018 to be held in Mumbai

It has been announced the third edition of High Rise’s South Asian Travel Awards will be held in Mumbai, India.

A team from SATA traveled to Mumbai and met with the city’s travel and tourism stakeholders earlier this month.

The team decided after the trip to hold SATA 2018 in Mumbai – the business capital of India. SATA, however, has not yet announced where in Mumbai the award will be held.

The team, while in Mumbai, met with senior officials from Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, Bhutan’s Hotels and Restaurant Association, and Taj Hotels and Resorts of India. They also visited the Outbound Travel Market 2018 held in the city.

Properties can be nominated for awards at SATA 2018, online, until March 15. Businesses have the opportunity to apply for awards from 36 categories in 10 segments.

High Rise reports top brands operating in the South Asian region have already nominated their properties for the awards.
