Power outage affects parts of Galolhu, Henveyru

Electricity has been cut off to parts of Galolhu district and Henveyru district of Male’ City.

State Electric Company (Stelco) says the company is working on restoring electricity to parts affected by the outage this Sunday afternoon.

“We are working on restoring electricity to areas affected by the outage. Electricity will be restored in about half an hour or so,” said Stelco.

The company said the outage was the result of an issue with one of the generators.
