Preparations have begun to bring the 16-year-old boy, injured in the traffic collision that took place in Addu City last night, to Male' City for further treatment.
Information Officer of the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital told Sun Media today the boy will be brought to Male' on an afternoon flight today. The boy sustained serious head trauma.
A witness to the collision, on the Link Road in Feydhoo around 11 p.m. last night, told Sun Media that the collision took place in front of the PPM Office when a speeding motorcycle lost control and hit an expatriate man.
All three people injured in the collision was initially taken to the Feydhoo Health Center before being transferred to Hithadhoo Regional.
A 13-year-old passed away following a traffic collision in Addu City last December.
