Former President of the Kaashidhoo Council found dead on dinghy

The former President of the Kaafu Kaashidhoo Island Council, Eesa Khaleel has been found dead.

A witness told Sun Media that the for Councilman was found dead inside a dinghy.

The witness said that the body was discovered on a dinghy on the inside of the seawall on the across the southern ward of the island.

The vessel belongs to the former Councilman according to the witness and his information says that Eesa took a trip to the nearby uninhabited island, Veligandu, 15 minutes prior to the discovery, with a group of people.

The witness said that Eesa went to get the people at the uninhabited island on a picnic. And whatever resulted in his death occurred after they returned as there are people who saw him typing up the vessel.

Police Media Official said that a 57-year-old man was found inside a dinghy at the Kaashidhoo Harbor and had been taken to the Kaashidhoo Health Center. The official said that the man was dead when he was taken to the health center according to the doctors.
