December 31st declared a public holiday

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has declared the last day of the year, December 31, 2017 as a public holiday.

The announcement was made by Spokesperson at President’s Office, Abdulla Muaz Ali via his official Twitter account this Wednesday.

A lot of families are travelling out of the country for the holidays this year.

Civil servants will be receiving three days as public holidays for the new year holidays this year.
