Woman reported missing from Nolhivaram

A woman has been reported missing from H. Dh. Nolhivaram.

The missing woman is Shaahidha Ali, 41, from Manzaruge in Nolhivaram.

Vice President of Nolhivaram Council, Ahmed Rasheed Adam said the woman was reported missing by the woman’s husband after she failed to return home after leaving to go swimming this Wednesday morning.

Police media official said the authority was working on finding the missing woman. He said the woman was reported missing to the authority at approximately 11 am.

Meanwhile, information officer at Maldives National Defense Force, Ibrahim Azim said officers from MNDF’s northern area command has been mobilized for the search. He said the MNDF was searching the waters around Nolhivaram for sign of the missing woman.
