Inmate dies from heart attack at Asseyri Prison

An inmate at the Asseyri Prison in Kaafu Hinmafushi has died from a heart attack.

Media Official of the Correctional Service told Sun Media that the inmate died from the heart attack was 31 year-old Ibrahim Musthaaq. And he died while in treatment at the Hinmafushi Health Center with chest pain.

Correctional Service said that the man died from a heart attack according to the hospital official.

Musthaaq was serving a sentence of three years and six months after being convicted of theft.
