Man with head injuries in Gan scuffle transported to Male’

A man who suffered head injuries after a dispute between two individuals at L. Gan has been transported to Male’ City for further treatment.

Police media official said the case was reported to the authority last Saturday.

The official said the case was under investigation, but that no arrests has been made yet.

Director at Gan Regional Hospital, Abdul Hannan reports the man injured in the dispute is not in critical condition. But that the man has been transported to Male’ City so he can undergo a CT scan and other tests.

“His condition is not critical. He’s able to walk. But he was sent to Male’ to do a CT scan to look for any internal hemorrhaging. Looks like he may have been attacked with an iron rod,” said Abdul Hannan.

The man who suffered injuries is 23 years old.
