President urges citizens to take precautionary measures against extreme weather conditions

President has urged all citizens to take all precautionary measures following the current weather conditions being experienced across country.

The President said that he is closely monitoring the condition of the people in all parts of the country and reassured that all relevant authorities have been instructed to be on alert at all times at the highest level of preparedness in ensuring the safety of the Maldivian people.

In regards to the President's comments, the Spokesperson of the President's Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali tweeted today saying that the President has a close eye on the situation as it develops and are providing aid to those in need.

Commander of the Coastguard, Mohamed Ibrahim said that the President has ordered to dedicate all resources to protect and provide assistance to the public.
