Four expats arrested with alcohol in Hulhumale'

Four Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested with a number of alcohol bottles in Hulhumale'.

Maldives Police Service said that four men were arrested in the police operation conducted on Saturday night following a tip where a residence was searched.

A total of five bottles of alcohol along with 38 cans of beer was found on the two floors of the residence.

Police conducted a similar operation today in Male' City where a number of alcohol bottles were seized while being transported on a pickup truck. And two people were arrested last Monday with alcohol at the Industrial Zone in the capital.
