Robbers break into shop at Male’ City

Robbers broke into tech shop “My Tech Corner” situated in the Maafannu district of Male’ City in the early hours of this Thursday morning.

An official from the shop who spoke to “Sun” said robbers stole phones, handbags, refer machines and camera systems displayed at the shop. The official said the robbers stole products worth at least MVR 100,000.

The robbers also stole MVR 6,000 at the cash register.

Robbers entered the shop by sawing through the metal at the entrance, reports My Tech Corner.

The official who spoke to “Sun” said the robbery looked to have taken place between 3 am to 4 am.

Police said the robbery was reported to the authority at 4:10 am. They said the case was under investigation and did not disclose any details.
