ACP Jamsheed demoted, transferred to Addu City

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Jamsheed has been dismissed from his position as Head of Integrated Service Command and is due to be transferred to Addu City as a projects officer.

“Sun” has been informed the decision was made by Maldives Police Service last week.

Jamsheed was appointed Head of Integrated Service Command in 2016 amid changes brought to the structure of Maldives Police Service.

Police media official refused to make any comment regarding the decision, stating it was against policy to disclose information regarding internal changes in positions of officers to the media.
