President Yameen leaves for Raa atoll

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has started a visit to Raa atoll.

The President is set to visit three islands in the atoll in the visit he started this morning. The President's Office said that President Yameen will be visiting Maduvvari, Meedhoo and Fainu.

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom his visit to the atoll today with the inauguration of the Sewerage System and conclusion of the Beach Protection Project of Maduvvari.

The President was accompanied at the function by cabinet ministers and MPs along with other senior state officials.

President Yameen is also set to inaugurate the harbor project in Fainu and officially open the new mosque built in Meedhoo. The President will also attend the inauguration of the clean water and sewerage project in the island.
