Final preps for SATA 2017 in Addu City!

Final preparations are being made in Equator Village, Addu City for the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) – due to begin on October 27, says event organizers High Rise.

Over 450 brands operating in the region have been nominated for awards in 34 categories and 10 segments.

High Rise reports that invitees from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan who are participating in the event will be arriving in Gan, Addu City on October 26 and October 27. Invitees from Maldives will be arriving in Addu City on October 27.

Equator Village was fully booked for the event two weeks ago. And rooms have been booked from guesthouses in Feydhoo, Maradhoo and Hithadhoo, and Canareef and Shangri La, reports High Rise to accommodate more invitees, says High Rise.

SATA will be held from October 27 to October 29. The gala and awards function – scheduled for October 28 – will be telecasted live by Television Maldives.

The platinum partner for SATA 2017 is Ooredoo Maldives, with Gan Airport and The Hoax as gold partners. Stage Core, Coca Cola, Grape Expectation, Asia Forwarding and Everest Carpet Manufacturing are silver partners.

High Rise reports that the Addu City Council, Red Crescent, Women’s Development Committee, Gan International Airport, MNDF Southern Area, Maldives Police Service, MPL, Fenaka, Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation, Ministry of Tourism and the youth of Addu City as well as kindhearted benefactors were providing their full cooperation to High Rise to make the event a success.
