Gn. Atoll Hospital launches physiotherapy services

Gn. Atoll Hospital has launched physiotherapy services.

The Physiotherapy Department of Gn. Atoll Hospital was opened by the Principal of Hafiz Ahmed School, Mohamed Fayas, in a ceremony held last Sunday.

Services provided by Physiotherapy Department:

- Ultrasound services

- Traction

- Infrared therapy

- Stimulator and interferential therapy

- Physiotherapy for muscle damage

- Stroke treatment

Gn. Atoll Hospital is a Level II tertiary hospital. The hospital provides services of specialist and laboratory services.

Manager of Gn. Atoll Hospital, Mohamed Faruzad reported the hospital was fully equipped to treat a population of 12,000 people.

The hospital provides obstetrics and gynecology services, orthopedic services, pediatric services and ophthalmology services.
